If I was you, I'de sell the one which was no good and then use the funds to buy your perfect cue :snooker:

I know you probably have to start at around the £400 mark for a 2nd hand Trevor White cue which is why i said that my budget maybe a bit short for one of his cues, sometimes you do get a bargain turn up where someone needs to sell their cue quickly to fund another buy. I know i can get a Parris for my budget as ive seen them go for less than £300 fairly regular, ive seen them in cue shops for less as well. The flash coloured Trevor White cues seem to go for more as their is more work involved, i'm just after a plain ebony butt.

I could spend more but you have to set a budget, the standard i'm playing at the min wouldn't warrant me spending £400+ on a cue. I could get the new one i have now tapered down but i want to keep it original rather than start messing around with it.

ADR (Andrew) always has some very nice cues, great person to deal with as well. Apart from the Parris cue with a brown inlay on the butt the other cues are one piece, great looking cues though that i can't see lasting long.

Yeah, thought it was worth a go, one piece Trevor white plain ebony, with the specs requested for £300. Shame they're one piece, I can't see you getting a much better deal though. Never mind Good Luck :snooker:

I`m not in any great hurry with having recently bought a new cue, i don't play competitions anymore so i'm not really in a rush to find something. The cue i have at the min has a great quality feel so i can use that for practicing, its just in the long run i'd be better off with a 9.5mm tip. I'll leave it with you Andrew, if you see anything that may fit the bill then just let me know, obviously the price would have to be ok and the grain which is important.

Jay, thanks for the pointer but that one is a non starter. Check out my question on his auction about shipping to the UK, he's got the cue up for $350 Aus dollars, he said it will be $245 Aus dollars to post it lol

No probs Andrew, i think i'll drop the John Parris part and stick to either a Trevor White or Mike Wooldridge, the John Parris ones from what ive seen have fairly thin butts and i don't want one thats too thin.
