  • Wanted 3/4 cue, jointed at 16 inches. Trevor White, Mike Wooldridge or similar.

Ive had a rethink on what type of cue i want, originally i preferred a classic style plain ebony butt but i may go for some splicings in the style of Stephen Hendry's old cue.

    The specs i`m after

3/4 ash cue jointed at 16 inches (Nice arrows on the shaft, maybe 6 - 7 evenly spaced. Straight grain on the sides)
    length 57 3/4 inches - 58 inches
    9.5mm - 9.6mm tip size
    weight: 18 3/4 ounces
    butt size 29mm - 29.5mm

This is the sort of style i'm looking for, i found the pic in the Trevor White pics thread.

Yeh, i'm ordering a cue from Trevor White but the only snag at the min is the waiting time which is currently 42 weeks. I need something to tidy me over inbetween that timescale, as you know if your not comfy with a cue in your hand thats giving you a few niggles you will never play to your best.

I know if i can find the right cue i'll be knocking in regular 14 - 16 breaks, i had an 18 break recently but the white sneaked in off so my mate wouldn't let me have it. My break went blue, pink, black and white for a total clearance, only thing left on the table was my cue.

To be honest I think you'd be better off investing in some coaching rather than an expensive cue if you're around the 15 break mark

Given it's a 42 week mark up atm, plenty of time for coaching ( I agree with the need for improvement tho ). Mind you, way I've played with that spare cue of mine I've been ****e lately!

Hi jaffa, i spoke with Trevor. That is part of the design and not a piece thats been added to lengthen the cue. Trevor said he's done a few like that. I like it, its unique and it gives a nice contrast with the top part of the ebony on the butt. He calls it an end cap.

I'm still looking for a cue so if anyone has something that maybe of interest then feel free to post.
