A quicker and easier way is to just copy and paste the IMG code (the bottom one) into your reply. This brings pics direct onto the screen rather than having to click on any links

That's a good one JRC. Don't quite understand what an IMG code is but I'll get the hang of it. Been after explanation of how to do it this way for a while. ALWAYS IN AWE OF TECHNOLOGY!!!!

Yep. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IMG. I think the GEM IMG file format is the oldest usage there. I immediately think of the HTML tag, being a developer who has done some web work. The IMG tag we use here is the BBCode one mentioned.

I think I've now mastered this method of posting photos. Would someone be able to post a similar "idiots guide" to posting photos where they just appear on the post as a picture rather than a link that you need to click on. Hope that's clear.

I've got a bit confused with that bit. My photobucket page looks a bit different. I don't seem to have the option to copy the IMG bit. I've only got the top two options. Any ideas?

When you hover over each pic in your album you should get 4 boxes appear below it ??
Alternatively if you click on one of your pics to make it full screen you should get the same 4 boxes over on the right hand side ??.....if your not getting theses then dunno mate
