    It's the price.....

As good as these cues might be I still think anybody parting with that kind of cash without trying the cue out first is a bit warped in the head.

Oh and welcome back to the world of wasting your hours away on the internet chap!

Thanks muck , tbh i think the majority of us buy blind , well nearly all of us i would say , its part of the journey to finding the cue and the suspense of not knowing what its gonna play like , just makes you feel like a kid waiting for a christmas surprise .

Apart from Chesworths , Craftsman , Greenbaize , and a few others there are not many places where you can go and try them out .

          Aye, tis true....

Hence why I've never parted with more than two hundred for a cue, mind you I also need to remember I ain't that good so a really really really good cue would most likely be wasted on me anyway, if I do ever get half decent you never know I might pop up to Craftsman or the like with some serious cash and see what's what, or if i did buy one on here off somebody then even spending some cash on fuel and having a knock with it directly would be part of the costings of buying the thing....

Imagine if Caz had done that in his search for the grail, he'd have spent £2k at least on fuel alone.

I can't find any photos of the cocobolo cue.

                    BTW, how's the shaft playability?

                    John

Hi John... hope you can see the photos attached. Lovely grain pattern on the cocobolo. I haven't seen a more beautiful one.

I would say its medium stiif and responsive muck , like all Trevs cues it is a work of art . The shaft is just as nice as the butt .
