I'll get back to you with the make of table and cloth. Am in Cornwall and the table is complete but can arrange dismantling etc.& delivery.

Hi Dean. The table has no ID but the firm that set the table up at its present location say its probably a Thurston & 100% wool cloth 6811 probably. The table did not have the cloth renewed when they put it up last time apparently - its had three homes with us and I'm pretty sure it was renewed - it really hasn't been used at all these last few years.
I'm not sure what a good table is worth these days with all the trimmings. Is £2K a fair price?
        Cheers - Tim

Considering snooker halls are all going out of business and selling or even giving away tables for FREE, I'd say that unless there is proven provenance for the table as a championship quality event table or something of that ilk, then 2k is just slightly too much.
I often use large words I don't really understand in an attempt to appear more photosynthesis.

Hi. Thanks for that. Any idea what is fair. I found some engraved numbers under the table S717 and 2174 and I think it is a Thurston. Cheers - Tim
