Hi ADR147,
It was not my intention to offend anyone only stating that both cues the Macassar and this one would need to be adjusted so the cost difference would be the same and in my humble opinion is too close to the new cost. It is your choice *not to put the offer to your friend either way I wish you and your friend every success in the sale but my offer will remain the same.*

Yes i just cannot believe that he finishes every single cue to 17 oz, then waits for someone to order one at say 18.5 oz and has to start messing about with it, if he does he's stupid
Surely you finish the cue as far as you can, then weight it to suit the order before adding the sd joint, oops sorry MW F1 joint lol
The standard price of his legend cues at £450 is already very high, there is no need to charge £50 extra

I went to his site and changed a few specs on a bulk standard cue and it come to £610 . Still cheaper than other makers .
They only thing i want clarity on is , if the cues are all made to 17oz and i want 18.75oz how is the weight added ?
Thought weight was not added to a handmade cue .Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

I would think that nearly all budget machine made cues will have added weights.
I am sure it is difficult to get the weight just right using the shaft/butt/splice/veneers woods alone, maybe a cuemaker will hop in here with some clarifying knowledge
Maybe a butt with multiple/multiple four-splices may need weight reducing measures
cheersUp the TSF! :snooker:

In fact Stu up at Greenbaize will happily alter length or tip size on any of his cues free of charge!
