  • Anybody after a cue should check page 95 of this thread and see what Andrew has left. I bought one of these for a ridiculously low price and it's an awesome cue.
I went into a chemist and asked for a deodorant, the assistant said "ball, stick or aerosol", "No, I want it for under my arms!" was my reply.

Ahh my old pearwood cue. It certainly was very nice while I owned it, but was sacrificed during a deal with Pete147
( I'm sure many others will know what that can involve )

              • Never had a phoenix cue so not sure, I had a utopia, which I guess is similar, I prefer the ADR147 cue, really nice cue at a knockdown price just because of a spelling mistake on the badge. In my opinion cues of this standard are normally worth at least £250, have a word with ADR147 as he is more of an expert than me and very helpful. Good luck cue hunting!

                • Thanks Tony! Bad thing that I have just about £120 budget.. I am sure if I buy more expensive branded cue- it's will be all right, but now... I can't test the cues by myself and afraid to spend money for some bamboo Thats why I am asking to help proffesionals to buy best cue for my poor budget. Help me please... =)

If you request the right balance and specs to what suits you then you can't go wrong. The advantage of spending a lot of money on a well known brand is resale values.
Now I am playing with Tricues one. I am not satisfied about the triangle invention, sometimes it gives error because of this shape when it slides through bridge or rest. And the wood is poor. I just need better traditional cue. No illusions about improving game just because of cue. It gives some confidence at the beginning, but results came just after a lot of practice. Practice, practice, practice!

The cue I bought was only £110, including postage, so within your budget and top quality, you won't get better quality for that price. Send adr a pm, he will get you something good
