  • eBay louis vuitton cue case

    Hi Guys
I need some help with the priceing of a snooker cue case which i intend on letting go, it was purchased new by my mother as a wedding aniversary gift for my late father, and with the passing of my mother it came to me.
It is in great condition, but both the leather case ends (coloured in bone/ cream) show some slight wearing (not scratched) of the leather die meaning that the original leather colour now shows through in a few places were the case would be slid alone or stood up on flooring. the rest of the case is fantastic with 4 hinges and 2 leather straps and carrying handle bearing the louis vuitton brand name with no marks on at all.
The case was desighned for a 2pc or 3/4 cue, with plently of room for both mini buts and telescopic extentions.
I have done many searches on google and ebay for louis vuitton cue cases but have found nothing, so can anyone here shed some light on how much this case would be worth when i come to sell it?
Please feel free to contact me for a few picture of the case for pricing or offers to purchase

thanks for your help guys and being here.
    regards
    Ian

p.s a local ginsadler has quoted me £25.00 to restore the rubbed leather corners back to thier original bone colouring..

For once my wife suddenly got a pique of interest in this forum
    Do you have any pictures?
As you only have 2 posts you cannot do it yourself yet.
If you email them to me I can upload them for you. (email sent)
What sort of price are you looking for?
    Cheers
    Up the TSF! :snooker:

are you sure of its authencity? i planned to get one tailormade in shanghai lv shop, and was told it would be around 90000 CNY, around 8500 GBP for a 1pc double case, and then i dropped a call to the lv shop in miami, then was quoted 7500 USD, then i give up

The only things i can recall of the case (this is going back some) atleast 10/12yrs ago mum had made to match a wallet she had purchased for my dad while they were on holiday and that the bone coloured ends were to match the leather snooker table pockets, my dad loved the case poking fun at my one peice or two peice plastic tube or leatherette cases.

                          Hi ADR,
To all following this thread and getting a little cofused (as am i) maybe this will help clear thing up regarding authentisity or the possibility of if with any LV case.
I inquired via the lodon LV website, askig them for some history or product number that i could furhter reseach to fid out exactly what the original price would have been.
LV customer support wrote a very nice letter back ,but it stated these items were custom order only, and that thier would not have been a item/product number.
which me that although LV may well e able to make such a item, this does not mean that they ever did, or for that matter have.
ADR i take on your well made point but i am sure we have had this particular case in the family from brad new around 10yrs ago, i am not in ayway stating that this must mean mine was originally made by LV, but it would actually seem more likely that this case could well of been one of those sent over as you discribed ,but at a ealier occation.
NOW if thier are people out thier reading this post that KNOW for sure HOW to distiguish a fake LV from the 'REAL' thing i for one would love to hear from them.
It seems to me that thier could well be a real one but more likely that 99% are fake LV branding on a very hig quality case, and trust me tis case real or not is of stunnig quality... confused , so am i
p.s loved the MW cue oil ADR WORKED A TREAT THX mate.

send me some photos. i spoke to philippe at custom orders LV in Paris many years ago to see if he would do some for me - he said and i quote we have never tried but if you send me a design we would give it a go - price though even for an order of 25 was crazy!

the fakes were very good they were made by a chap well known in the business in thailand.
