the mrs bought a jimmy choo handbag the last time we were abroad for about £20, the quality is unbelievable and stands up to the genuine jimmy choo one she paid silly money for, so it's like anything else, it's worth what ever people are prepared to pay for it.

i very vaugley remember seeing one at a pool festival a few years back, up in rhyl or maybe the worlds in bridlington? maybe part of the batch adr has said about, it was a tan colour leather with the lv designs all over it i think, it caught my eye cos i've never seen one before, or since come to think of it.

personally i think they must be 100% fake, think about it, why would a multi billion pound international fashion house make cue cases.

    answer - they wouldnt.

I have seen some made in the Far East, some looked very cheap but some looked really nice. Not sure if yours are real, did it come with a registration card, even if it was a one off custom case?
Can you ask the person who gave it to you where she got it from?
I believe there must be a way you can verify with Vutton...

                  Thanks for the link.
I personally do not like those plastic end caps myself. Have seen a few that cracked and came off, leaving a big nail hanging on the case. But for 10 GBP I would not complain. LOL.
I hope the OP's case is not like this as it is so obviously fake. :-P
Saw some better quality Gucci and Vuitton cue cases before, probably were the Thai ones ADR was talking about. Did not have the plastic end caps, featuring better leather and craftsmanship.
                  Show us some picture, please.

The exact same case in above images is available in Thailand now for $100-120 USD. Personally, I think the easiest way to distinguish between the fake VS the genuine one is to look at the quality of all the metal parts (the gold lock/hinge). This goes the same for all the lady bags. The fake can have very high craftsmanship on making/edge folding/stitching. But they usually do not come with the top end quality on the metal parts like the genuine one.

In your case, it may be very hard to judge as the case is almost 10 years old like you said.

                        Hi Eveyone,
ADR has stepped up said the case is as follows:-
quote it was made in thailand 100% by a guy called ukrit. i think that one was sold by craftsman cues.end quote

And yes i agree the 90.00 case with plastic caps looks terrible.
The clasps on mine are all in as new condition as i said the case is really really well made only the scuffs on the leather ends need sorting to make it fantastic condition.
                        cheers
                        ian

                            Hi there,
There is no web site that shows this copy LV case. Copy product is also illegal in Thailand, so the shop that sells this do not want to make it so obvious by putting these kind of images on their web site.

its a quality thai case i will confirm that - i think they were made before the company was big enough to worry about law suits!

                                hI everyone,
i would just like to thank everyone here for the support and input regarding my case, and aspecial thanks to Adrian, who has been able to identify the origins of it for me.
so i can now confidently state the following:-
It is one of only 25 high quality lv branded cases that came to these shores, made in thailand by a guy called ukrit and sold by Craftsman Cues, and has been stored away unsused for the past 6 years.
I will now put the case up for sale at £110.00, a very fair price i'm told for a very rare quality case.
once again many thanks to everyone for the help feedback and support.
                                cheers
                                Ian
