          Hi Ste

What specs is the cue? I have a craftsman 1pc that i'm considering selling. I live in Ashton btw. (Ignore this I didn't read your message properly and thought you wanted to swap cue's)

Also, I am the captain of the snooker team at rileys, so I get 50% off table time which works out at about £3 an hour. if you or 57varieties fancy a knock about then give me a shout and we'll sort something out.

          Cheers

          Paul

When you say Rileys do you mean the one in Greenough St.(Powell St)if so what are the tables like, I heard conflicting remarks about them. Which league do you play in and is it handicapped? Always looking for a game so may come back to you on that one.
I went to the Triangle on Monday and it is really nice inside. The tables are well looked after and the way they have sound proofed it from the bar is good. The only problem I was told by the bar staff is that you can only sign up for the team at the beginning of the season which seems a nonsense to me.
They have a game tonight so I may go and find out from their captain if this is true.

Yeh thats the Rileys, The tables are ok. I only play on table 7 and 8 which are our match tables. Because they are upstairs and the floors are rubbish the tables never run as straight as they should. We play in the Ashton and district league and it is handicapped http://www.ashtonanddistrictsnookerl...moonfruit.com/

I went in to triangle for a few frames when it first opened and I wasnt that impressed with the cloths, probably better by now though. My team actually play triangle in a couple of weeks but we are playing at home.

Match on a tuesday will be for the earlstown league, the ashton one is on thursdays. If you can't get any info from Triangle then go into stubshaw cross labour club and see if mike or dave are about, they run the ashton league.
