I believe the people at ABC Snooker are located close to Kevin at North West Cues and seem to have information about his activites so they may be able to help.

Surely someone out there must have a mini butt? Have tried ABC but they don't respond to my emails and have now taken off the extension they had on there site. Does anyone know if anyone else's will fit?

Sorry to hear you have not had any luck yet.
Maybe you should think about having the old joint removed and a new one added, then you can get mini/tele as you need. Any cue maker/doctor should be able to do this reasonably easily and not for too much.
I did a quick search and found the following: note: I think that these prices do not include taking out the old joint which may be extra.
              Mastercraft (Shrewsbury) (http://www.mastercraft-cues.co.uk/10....php?p=7&pno=0) £35 (joint & mini)
Mike Wooldridge (www.handmadecues.com)from £35 (you need to register first)
Dave Coutts (Lincoln) (http://www.couttscues.co.uk/repairsandalterations.html) from £40 (joint & mini)
Robin Cook (Carlby) (http://www.robincues.co.uk/Repairs.html) price on application
Wright Cues (Hull) (http://www.wrightcues.co.uk/repairs.htm) £35 (joint & mini)
As you can see they do seem to be similar in price and there will be many more on the web and maybe even one very close to you.
              Best of luck

did think about that but the cue just feels perfect and didn't want to mess with it, I'm sure one will turn up, I've waited 20 years for my perfect cue so a few more months for a mini butt won't hurt?

I have been hearing on other threads that he has not been answering phone/email/etc.
hope this is not the case for our friend here...

I have a North West cue for sale with 2 extensions, 1 of them being the mini butt.
Do you only want the mini butt? as im not sure about selling it on its own as i may get more for the whole set if i sell it with the cue.

What joint does KM use in his mini-butts? Is it similar to a JP/Mastercue/Aurora socket and pin, or is something else that has a much different screw fixture / thread, or even some airlock type like MW? Does anyone know?
If you want to play the pink, but you're hampered by the red, you could always try to play the brown!

In the same vein what does Mastercraft use for the butt joint?
