Cue is brand new and not second hand. If posted it will be fully insured. Ronnies cue made by Hunt & Osbourne is the same specs as this cue. 58",9.5,17OZ.
You have to understand that i sell top quality cues and not broom sticks. And you can choose if you like it or not. I believe that every single of you hear on the forum dreaming to own this kind of cue.
I thought that it will be nice for a snooker addicts to have a chance to buy a top cue for less than it will be advertise on ebay.
It is much easier to sell cues on ebay than on this forum but i done my bid and i will move on with the sale were people going to appreciate the quality of the craftsmanship.
    Thanks for your comments.

this type of cue is selling for between 1000 - 1500 pounds in hk / china 2nd hand and are flying off the shelves. i don't see what's so crazy about the price.

we already know that top cue makers like robert osborne and will hunt are now only selling to trade and mostly in asia, and you can put that down mainly to the low returns they make in the UK selling custom cues. shouldn't that be a signal to tell you that cues have been chronically under-priced in the UK?

The simple reason cues are overpriced over there is because uk cue makers are highly regarded and players want cues made in the uk.

If makers tried charging that over here they wouldnt sell them my friend. you cannot compare markets here to there bud.

So, it's not a case of uk makers under charging is it, it's because uk cues are highly thought of for the british history of snooker and makers in uk etc...

That's the reason for some makers deciding to move on and only sell abroad for the time being because it's worth so much more money abroad. robert would never sell his cues here for that money. hence the decision to sell out of the uk at this moment.

As i said, i don't care how much fedia asks for his cues. thats his business, but dont come here with his ebay jargon talking rubbish about his cues.
cos i can guarantee not every member here dreams of owning a cue like this. as he put it. lol.
                That's all.

                Peace out.

                Ant...

some friendly advice - you're in the wrong market. going on ebay uk (& here) to sell your cues is like trying to sell a saville row suit @ marks & spencers or caviar on toast @ macdonalds. get yourself a book of clients in asia / china where people pay top dollar and understand the trade-off between $ premium / time.

some examples of 2nd hand prices (rmb xchange to pound sterling is 10:1):

p.s. for some of the threads you have to register before you can view the pictures.

would putting 'wet' in front improve the marketing jargon?

I dunno about 'wet', but if anyone buys this cue for this money they are a bit of a drip like...

I thought everyone in China was poorly paid and in Hong Kong they were so busy being yuppies that they would not have time to play snooker. I dream of Rileys, though once I did have a dream about a Horace Lindrum cue.

Obviously he doesnt. Just generalising asians as a much of poorly paid and so forth. China's economy is 10 times greater than those of Europe? half the products you consumed are manufactured in China?

Pretty funny judgement if you ask me.

The reason Chinas economy is so good, is that the workers are all poorly paid. Therefore struggle to afford essentials like food and shelter. I bet it is a very tiny minority that have £2000 spare to invest in a Hunt and Osborne snooker cue.
