It would be a real help if you could post a photo or two along with the specs of the cue (weight, length, tip size and butt diameter/balance point) and your expected price. Right now only collectors might respond but still highly unlikely without knowing something about the cue.

If it's a little bent then offer it to Hendry himself, he might be able to play with it like he used to his own.

Possibly a friend helping the bidding along for the one that sold for £280.

That figure is over twice the true value IMHO
Just because its old, doesn't mean its worth a fortune!!

yes the cue is that an ebay.co.uk! No I don't think on ebay a friend helped with bidding because there are many different bidders!

Actually if you check the bidding history there were only 4 bidders on that cue, and feedback hasn't been left yet, so maybe sold abroad or even didn't go thro ??

I think you don't know which cue we talking about. its a very rare almost not to find in this days stephen hendry cue. a great playing 1 piece maple cue which you can not find a second one this days. Yes you can buy a parris cue for more than 600 euros!

It's only a model of the same type and Hendry's and these are not that hard to find. In perfect condition this cue would only bring in around 150pounds I think.
