yes, recieved today, had a knock with it but feels bit light for me, prob as my current cue is 18 and 3/4 jointed.

        very responsive stiff shaft though

felt i didnt have to take some more pics when, the previous sellers are better than i can take with mobile cam.

What kind of condition is the shaft in regarding dents etc, dyou think it has it been sanded or is it the usual powerglide wax type finish on the shaft? Theres a point at the end of all this inquisition matty, hehe

well the varnish looks to have been removed at some stage on the shaft, but its done well and feels smooth and oiled. this is done just above the rex williams signiture. theres is no dents are scratches on shaft. however theres is some varnish been removed from butt, nothing drastic, just can see the ebony underneath. if i was going to keep it anyway id have the varnish removed. then all the cue can be oiled and the butt would look spot on. to be honest mate cue is faultless, no damage at all and 100% straight. just a bit of varnish been pealed off at butt and thats it. cant offer anything else on it mate, in my opinion top cue

Good stuff matty yeah sounds like the usual powerglide finish looks sannded just above the points but is waxed of some sort, aye you dampened my weekend you just outbid my sis in england bidding on this for me, i was givin no more than £100 max, when it went to 90secs left told her to final offer £120 but it didnt register in time, was well pi***d about tis. In reality i expected it to go for btween 100 and 110. always wanted one of these since i began playing.

nice cue mate, am playing with a 3/4 at min. which was originally one piece and doesnt feel same since had it altered so am bk searching for a one piece again.

on the purist cue a splices tight and level, quite strange how these cues are underated. any other well known one piece handspliced ebony and its up from 170 at least.

                          |Yeah thats for sure had a a craftsman 147 style 1piece plain handspliced ebony/ash made to my specs by dave in leeds with pro-ash shaft option there 3months back for £250 plus minibutt and telescopic exts. Cracking cue to play with and looks real fine to boot, dave put a darker than the usual finish on it for me, a bit like an aged patina on an old cue, lovely job. Neways what are you expecting to get on the purist? If it was here now in front of me id take it off your hands no probs
