A few months ago Stu Green received a delivery of cues and I drove through to get pick of the choice!! After a couple of hours of trying out as many of the cues as I could I finally bought two cues, a 3/4 joined ash cue with a 9.5mm tip and a one piece ash cue with a 9mm tip, both cues are exactly 58in long and with lovely arrows and straight grain and both cues are balanced around 18in and weigh approx 18oz.
For the last few weeks I have been playing with both cues and have finally decided to stick with the 3/4 joined cue, mainly for ease of transporting the cue.
This means that the one piece cue is now for sale. If anyone is interested then please send me a pm and I can take some photos and email them to you.
The cue has 4 lovely thuya burr splices and the ebony is jet black and all splice work is just about perfect. The grain is dead straight and the cue has 6 perfect arrows. I chose it from about 100 cues as having the best grain and arrows and it is a good player. The cue is exactly 58in long to the top of the ferrule and balances at almost 18in and the tip is 9mm. Not sure of the exact weight as my digital scales are broken but I m pretty certain it is 18oz and the butt is 29.5mm at the very end. It also has the butt joint for extensions. I think the full price of this cue was 250 pounds but I am looking for a quick sale so would accept 200 pounds plus postage.
