The shaft is maple and has an aged looked to it since just come back from craftsman cues where it has had clean and polish. the butt has had the varnish removed and now looks liek a brand new cue.

Now in my hands Got it earlier today and took a few hits. It needs to be taken down to 9.5mm from the 10mm it's at right now. Lovely cue hits nice with a soft hit.
