Well it seems like as soon as he found out how much it was worth he couldn't wait to cash in !!
Not really on, as snookerpoolman did him a favour and said if it doesn't suit he could have his money back, but ohh no gotta chase the money

Without knowing the facts of what was said or agreed its hard to comment but if its true what has been said of an agreement of a buy back if the cue is no good and he has ignored this and put it up for sale purely to cash in then thats disgusting and not the sort of person i'd wanna be associated with. If i'm wrong then I apologise for sticking my nose in.

A buy back option is just a good gesture will, is it Not?...
If it was sold and said "if" you dont like it and i want first refusal on buy back then that's different.
I don;t see the problem really. buy back option bit different imo. snookerpoolman was obviously happy with the price and anyone could have bought it to sell on before the op.
Maybe a few gutted members about that missed the original sale eh...lol...
And not as if some of the ppl here commenting in disgust havnt cashed in on cues in the past is it now... ahem...
Jus sayin'...:snooker:

One stumbling block may come from the fact that if you don't know the history behind this cue then you probably would have your reservations about it being genuine. I mean the badge hasn't got a number like most Ultimates have so people will be a bit sceptical to say the least. Be interesting to see what the reserve has been set for.

Personally i think its a dirty trick to pull if he's selling this on for pure profit based on what ive read so far, did the original seller deliver the cue to him personally as well ? I read that the original seller even offered him the money back if it didn't play well, are those the facts so far ?
If those are the facts then it comes across that this person is taking advantage of someone's extremely kind nature, also its someone thats bent over backwards to help him and has offered him an amazing deal at an amazing price including a full refund if he wasn't happy with the cue.Last edited by The Stig; 5 January 2012, 08:49 PM.sigpic
