Like I said this is not my opinion just thought I would point it out. Nothing wrong with john's cue either just the price.
I not looking for a fight just responding to what in front of me. To be honest I don't understand the thread.
Is it JP or fake ?????
Man buys cue from first man sell it to second man????
    Peace to all

Just out of interest, when did John Parris start to number his Ultimate cues ? Should they all have a number or did he do special one offs for customers that didn't have a number ?

The cue was DEFINITELY made for Nigel Bond and was purchased by Dave off Nigel when they played in the same team together, it has been cared for ever since and served Dave well.

I'll let him make his response or not tomorrow, but those of you questioning it, it IS a Parris and WAS made for Nigel Bond....

Not sure when but not all of them have numbers, and not all have a round badge either--square plates were used, too.

I am not sure if the un-numbered ones were one-off custom orders or if he started doing them with no number first before he numbered them. I kind of think it might the the latter but as I said, I know nothing about this so it is just my uneducated guess.

I dont think most of us doubt that this is not a real Ultimate. At least I am not doubting it--just curious and want to find out more about it is all. Thank you.

It may yet make the 3 grand mark if I decide to ge involved in the bidding and then refuse to pay!

You have to ask yourself if the cue was any good why did Nigel get rid of of it.

I like the "Has had other offers for the cue but was advised to put it on ebay and wants it to go to some one dedicated and a serious player" or in other words i put it up for sale at £350 as the same price i paid, but then realised i could make so much more

It all comes down to how thin the shaft is. if he can get a 9.5 ferrule on and still keep the cue at 57 I suppose it could be an investment.
