I have a burwat champion for sale if anyone is interested, the cue is in good condition. I did put a new name plate on it that I got from tony glover, as the old one didn't look very good, not sure what its worth, I think i payed about £150 for it a few year ago. the specs are 58in,ash shaft, 17.5oz tip size is 11mm I think. will try and get some pics on later.

African black ebony on the butt or Macassar ebony (stripey). I'd be interested if it's the black variety, seen quite a few Macassar champions lately.

The butt is macassar ebony, it is very dark coloured, here are some pics if any help.

Could you post a pic of the shaft grain from about the half way point to the ferrule with the badge facing up? Shaft looks very clean for an old cue, probably the flash making it appear lighter than it is though.

The shaft is pretty clean, I will try and get more pictures up later, I think the cue may be sold will let you know.
