Not at all, im not and havent charged anywhere near Trev's prices, and until Im happy I wont be charging those prices either.

The prices on ebay are out of my control.
I have a very rigid pricing scale which I have been following and will follow regardless of ebay prices or some of the offers Ive had to make a cue. My pricing scale reflects how happy I am with my progress.

The problem here is supply and demand. I cant supply to the demand hence what is available is in more demand and is attracting higher prices.

                  Gaz.
Gaz, If you look at the 1st opening entry in this thread I advertised Cue 036 on here for £230. Think I also offered it on facebook for the same but had no takers. Had a few people offer me £200 which I didnt feel enough.

So £230 was the price that this cue 36 was advertised for. Im now moving closer to £250 as I have some very good ash and am more confident with getting a good result, Although for the last month I have turned down every enquiry/order as I want to keep on top of the orders I have and not let myself get swamped.
As ive openly said, I want to clear all the current orders so I can make a few stock cues of the designs I want to and so I can also experiment more with the multi spliced designs and a few replica cues.

Sorry, just been inundated with enquiries.
Around 3 months time I will start considering orders. Around Late May time.

I do enjoy reading people getting narky when not able to order etc, couldnt make it up!

Your doing it the right way Jason, keep it up! We all know what happens if you accept every order request you get!

As for the prices, if i was you id be tempted to ebay every cue you make!

Deepscrew if you think that was narky then take a step back and read it again. I think Jason is doing exactly the right thing by not over stretching himself and taking orders he can't deliver on. My point is that an email back saying words to that effect isn't a lot to ask surely ?

Mark, My fault mate, your right a reply isnt a lot to ask.
I am getting constant email requests for quotes. I have an Iphone and open emails on it all day but im not always in a situation whereby I can reply. So your email wouldve been opened during the day, read and then because when I have sat down at night to send out some replies, your email would have looked like it had been read already and thus iv missed replying to it.
My apologies, please dont grib at deepscrew, its a forum and a bit of banter is what its all about.

The official line is im not taking any more orders until further notice. I have 11 cues to make and want to clear them off in full before taking any other orders. In amongst them I want to make a few stock cues to sell locally to league players and also ebay a few. I am truly flattered by the amount of respect and desire people have shown for the cues iv made.

I am making cues as a paying hobby alongside working a full time job. I dont want and dont need to flood myself with orders and then drown under the pressure of trying make everybody happy.

My goal is to make quality cues that I can charge a quality price for that would enable me to go into cue building full time. That may be a few years off yet and im in no rush.
