  • eBay Ye Olde Ash - Tony Glover Replica Cue 3/4

    ***SOLD***

As you can see from pics it is jointed just below the splices. this was done when it was originally ordered.
I have recently had dave coutts remove the glover joint and butt joint and replace it with a parris joint.

Has thought with the glover joint made the cue overally heavy, but with the parris joint makes but bang on 18onz.

    spec of cue

    58 inches long, 10mm tip
    18 onz
    29mm butt

    very stiff shaft.

was going to have it altered as its bit long for me at 58 inches. but found another cue am better suited to. so decided to sell instead.

Now with the parris joints with cue looks like a replica of the cue steve davis plays with.

    post in U.K Only

    £300

Is it me or does the splice after the joint look wider than the section before the joint even takin into account they're slightly misaligned?

cue joint is set very slightly off, to allow movement over time. where over constant tightening it will become perfectly alined, anyone seen steve davis cue now? proves this point, its gona over the other way.

you can only tell by going close to the cue, when in the cuing position, the arrows sight perfect with badge help up.
        unoticeable without going close up.

This is a Very Easy fix as I have had Joints put in Cues and some have come back like this which I didnt like Personally puts me off and Doesnt Look right. Its very easy fix just run some very fine paper over butt joint turn whilst doing it so you dont get flat spot very important.

Have you been Paid for this Cue already?

                    Gaz.

Just want to say a big thanks for selling me this cue Matty, it has got to be the best cue i have owned so far, it looks absolutely amazing, has got the old cue looks that i love, together with the modern bits of a 3/4 joint thro splices and a butt joint. Plus the most sexiest badge you can get on a cue imo
I didn't want to use it till i had chance to change the tip, so went thro to see Stu this afternoon at Greenbaize and he worked his magic with a lovely MW supertip, the only ones i really like, anyhow played tonight and got a lovely 44 break, highest for some weeks that, so am getting on with it very nicely thankyou
