i've got an idea. why don't you just call your ones 'sh*t cues'?

mind you, that could apply to all of them...

p.s. before you ask, i'm picking up the h&o joints in a minute. may be able to get them off to you today with any luck.
I just had a heart attack when I saw "Sin Bin cues" and I thought, finally Mike has gotten around to it. But no . Mike, why you no throw away cue? I'm holding my cue oil ransom in exchange for a stick from you. I think it's a fair deal.

          Sin bin cue for sale

**First refusal goes to Terry Davidson**

Sin Bin cue = A cue that I feel hasnt made the grade to badge up as one of my cues. There maybe a defect in the taper, splices or just the grain pattern in the wood, but the cues will play well and if your open to a non perfect cue then you'll get a bargain.
On this basis, sold as seen, absolutely no returns, price reflects that you are not buying a grade A product.

Ash shaft, Ebony butt with 4 Ovangkol bottom splices and an additional ebony front splice.

          Length 57.25 inches
Ferrule 9.5mm - No tip fitted
          Butt - 28.7mm
          Weight 17.75 ounces

          Taper at 6 inches 12.4mm, at 12 inches 14.3mm

          Sinned -
The ash arrows are in line at the top half of the shaft but then the arrows twist round so not in line by the splices, purely visual.
Not happy with how the maple veneers have come out at the tips, bit scabby.
Splice fingers too long at 8.5inches.

That's a lovely cue looking Jason......

Just out of curiosity you say the finger splices are too long..... What sort measurement do you normally aim for??

It's all personal taste, I like the splices to be around 7 inches. Certainly not shorter than 6 inches. The splice fingers on this cue wasn't a deal breaker for me but more that they are one of a few factors that I felt this cue didn't come up to scratch. It does look great but I have to be happy with the end result of the cue for me to expect someone else to be happy with it.

Jason, can you put on list for your next sin cues if you have any? I'm interested in a one piece Ash.

                              Thanks
