  • eBay Will Hunt Green Plate Cue

New Will Hunt Green Plate cue. Beautiful cue, mint condition.

Specs. - 1 pc., ash shaft(2 chevrons), 57", 9.5mm ferrule, 18.1 oz., 29.3mm butt, ebony butt 18.75", four Macasser(striped ebony) splices, balance at 17", 6" ebony mini-butt, MW Supertip. 400 pounds plus shipping.

Bought from Coutts Cues early December. Coutts received cue from Will Hunt in person.

Reason for selling - I have a numbered Black Plate Will Hunt. I was hoping I'd like the Green Plate as much so that I would sell the Black Plate for a handsome price- but I prefer the Black Plate.

I have to respect your honesty, it is impossible to quantify in monetary terms the satisfaction of watching the balls disappear as you intended or laid a perfect safety / snooker. Good luck with the sale - good specs and should move along quickly - and be "the" cue for someone else!

Just so everyone knows, Wayne came to my place for some coaching and brought along his Will Hunt Black Plate and I got to take 4 long shots with it and made every one perfectly. At the end of the lesson I was thinking of mugging him for the cue and burying him in the back garden but I couldn't figure out how to get rid of the car and get a good story for the cops!

Yes, I was lucky to get out of there with my life and my cue. I believe this was the starting of your Will Hunt quest.

Wayne Im Glad you realised keeping a Cue you can Play with is more important than the Money! As I see it very often people sell there Cues for Cash and then few weeks/months down the line they have regrets.

All I can say wayne glad you went with your heart and not your Pocket...lol

Great Looking Green Plate Wayne and Good Luck with your Sale m8.

What do you need to know Eamonn ? Assume the cue would be about 10 years old and Will made these after H & O no longer made cues . I've seen a few of them . John Woods a snooker coach uses one and Wayne G on here has one .

                            Eamonn,

Don't worry about the certificate(I'm not even sure if Will provided one back then, maybe someone else can answer that). The main thing is that you have one heck of a cue there. Mine is #336 and was bought new in 2002 by a friend of mine at the Crucible.

Put some pics up, would like to see it.

Wayne, can you tell us how you find the cue ?

I've also just bought a new Will Hunt green plate with 4 splices in Padauk which I find nice balance but need to fit with a proper tip to let it functioning as I expect.
