You should ask Mr Wooldridge if he can fit an SD joint while on his Cue wizard.

If you really want to learn you can use the search function and there are more than enough info on this forum for you to spend hours and hours on reading and equiping yourself. Look at the pistures, listen to what people say, and try to figure out why some cues are more sort after and more expensive. Try to understand why people prefer a cue over another...
Go to a shop or try out your mates cues then find the one that feels the best. Try to understand why you like the cue--is it the flex of the shaft, the balance...
Pay attention to the woods used, the finish, the craftsmanship in general and try to spot the differences between a higher end cue and a lower end one...
If you want to learn you need to get your hands dirty so to speak.
Good luck.

Not sure if you're sorted yet and I know you weren't 100% on TW, but this chap seems to be having trouble selling his, why not make him an offer, seems to meet your specs...

It's number 33 of his collection. 9.5mm tip, 26mm butt, 18OZ and 1 piece.

I am 6ft 2 and absolutely gorgeous (I JOKE!) so I am thinking maybe a 59" cue?
What is the best tip size to have?
What is the best tip?
What is the weight I should go for? (I'm guessing 19)
What size butt?
I personally have never held a cue that feels as nice as a John Parris cue so I'm edging towards one of his at the moment.
