my cue collection john parris ultimate 1pc ash -replica j.p.mannock
That was yesterday which was Sunday, theyre not opened then This is looking more and more dodgy by the minute.
ive also never seen a Parris receipt like the one above, its usually hand written on a small piece of Parris letterheaded paper.
I have never seen a Parris reciept like that (not that I have seen that many ), but they have always been a small hand written from a duplicating pad, also the person made it up on Word or some such software as they captured the non-printing characters as well
Very odd! Why is there a empty column which cost £55, Special cues start at £408 you have one that cost £258, the postage column is empty yet it has £12 for postage in the description and there is a small spelling error "reapired" which I personally wouldn't expect in a professional business. All seems a bit strange for me, doesn't mean it's a fake though, could just be a series of coincidences. :snooker:
Just thought, wouldn't there be VAT?

So is what you are saying that this parris cue is a fake from China and is now trying to be sold on this site as genuine? If so can we please have this member reported to the police and banned? I also feel John Parris should be informed that this member has also tried to forge a receipt in his name to aid his story.
I've raised this in my earlier post, it seems there are two JP 'Ultimate' cues numbered 1791 out there?! Looks like one is a fake I had one 'Ultimate' cue made in early 2007 n I agreed with the other member, the receipt put up by the seller looks dodgy. I believe the best person to unravel this mystery is Mr John Parris himself, he should be able to verify on the authenticity of this cue. I'd be very crossed by now if I were the buyer, and paid a princely sum for it too!!
Could it be that the seller has the original 1791 cue n he's selling a non-genuine item from China with the same numbered badge?!
If you look at the attached photos, the grains on the original 1791 ash shaft is different from the so called '1791' shaft, the spacing between the chevrons are not the same too!! Mind you, this is a 1 piece cue. 1st photo shows the oringal 1791 cue, the left most with snakewood face splice next to a 1790 cue n 2nd photo shows the ash shaft from the doubtful '1791' cue.
I am not sure what is happening here but I just want to ask a general question.
I believe John will make two Ultimate cues with the same number...can someone verify this please?

Doubtful id say sure whats the point in numbering them at all then, but this just looks extremely suspect, only john will be able to clear this up hopefully.
