  • I thought that it had always been HK to be honest. £800 for a cue which is fake and never even got sent... Disgusting! This has to be sorted, sooner rather than later.

Apparently, the buyer is still waiting for his refund and the silence is deafening! It appears the seller is just going to pocket the money Shouldn't members of this forum help out on this, anyone?

How does one get his money back when he is confronted with this kind of seller?

      • I imagine if he used paypal he'd be able to get it back, but I don't really know to be honest :snooker:

        • JasonX not been on here since 24th March ..........not looking good ........very poor form . I do hope the buyer gets a full refund soon and Jason needs a good explanation as why it has taken him so long to re-pay the funds ......if he ever does .

Must be a mountain of evidence on here to be collected from the sale of his other cues for the fraud squad to peruse...

                  • I cannot Beleive Jason has done this! As it seemed as he was a nice guy who loved the forum.

I did come abit weary when i seen he had so many Top Cues very quickly! And i couldnt understand why he Changed his Hometown from HK or CHINA to UK.

Personally I dont normally buy from abroad or People I dont know! Unless I do Cash on Delivery or Pay Small Deposit til Cue Arrives as I am admin on a few Forums and the last 2 yrs or so its been getting alot worse with Con Artists!

                    Gaz.

Just went on that website and google Chrome translated the following descriptions of cues ...

Britain's top snooker club, Mike Wooldridge, maple-pass lever private collection of excellent to fight flu

                      &

Britain's top snooker club Trevor White preferred forelimb 3/4 lines a good recommendation!

                          • The strange thing is that I know someone who sold a JP Special to Jason and this was a genuine 1990s JPS. So I know Jason has had access to genuine, original JP cues in the past , as I know this is the case , my question is " why sell cues that have questionable provenance ( I am trying to be subtle and polite here ) when you have access to cues of proven provenance " ??? Greed or stupidity , I am sure I dont know.

                            • Jason was originally listed as based in Shanghai, China. He recently changed to based in the UK as he said his brother lived there. I know some Chinese members here know Jason, but I guess it is up to them to decide if they want to get involved.

The cues Jason were selling look very real to me to be honest. Sometimes he would have some minis that did not look original but all the cues he was selling looked very real and his pictures are always very nice.

Jason needs to communicate with the buyer asap. He is not responding which makes him look very guilty. If he has made a mistake, at least refund the buyer the money. No need to keep the buyer wondering and worrying about what is going on.

There are also members here from China who know him so it is not helping his cue sales in China either.

Jason, I am sure you do not want to ruin your reputation over 800 GBP. If you have spent the money and cannot issue a full refund at this moment at least you can tell the buyer that you will pay him back in installments or something like that. I hope you will do the right thing.

Very good post Airin , But with the amount of cues he has , he should sell a few a pay the man back . Does not look good that he has not been on since 24th March when i last looked . The Forum Community needs to help the buyer out and someone needs to try to get hold of Jason .
