I would just like to throw an word of caution.
I understand that Robin Cook uses "Spirolock" cos i owned one of his cues and still does.
The o'min joint fits perfectly..yes..
Recently i acquired an Dave Coutts cue who uses "Spirolock" as well and was told that Robin makes the "Spirolock" for Dave Coutts as well but when i received it, i noticed that the Dave Coutts "Spirolock" is LARGER in size though it is the same "Spirolock"..but would not fit Robin's cues.
So make sure you get the right one

Of what Robin had told me, nowaday he used his new smaller "Spirolock" for those UK customer, and for his customer from Asia he would use omin joint to easy them to source for extention. However, he did use omin joint on most of his old cues few years back.
The above is refer to butt joint only. Hope this would help...
