Do you have an ebay account maxz? Just so we can see some feedback...this cue is worth a decent amount of cash and as such, someone with 18 posts needs to be checked out a bit. We've had a more than a few sellers do a runner so need to avoid anymore of that !

I'm in the process of purchasing an old H&O BP and I'm having a butt socket added to the cue which of course means it isn't 'mint' however the Omin butt socket isn't heavy and doesn't go too deep so it will not change the 'feel' of the cue and I want to use this as a playing cue if I can get on with it.

I notice this one also has a spiral butt socket like the later Hunt & Osborne cues so it shouldn't effect the characteristics of this cue.

However, I didn't pay 1,500GBP for mine but if I can't get on with it maybe I'll sell it for that asking price

Adding the butt joint just deflects from the cost a little in my opinion .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

                              matty:

I haven't seen mine as yet as it's still being worked on but it's one of the older ones with the extended 3ft butt rather than butt socket so I'm having that added by an expert with a precision lathe.

If I can't get on with it though I will try and sell it for a decent price as it will be at a very common spec, 9.4mm, 18.5oz, 57" and there should be a lot of interest

But no matty 'low-ball' bids will be accepted
