Does anyone know where I can purchase a tip shaft sleeve used for protecting the ferrule and the top of the shaft? I saw Ding using one against Ebdon in the China Open recently.

do a Google (or whatever) search for "Cue Tip Protector" and you will hit many, especially from US.
Beware though most are large, >10-11mm, as they usually are for US pool cues.
A friend of mine made his own, as he does not use a case, with a small piece of plumbing pipe insulation, slightly cut down to be smaller and taped. Works well. Also with the hi-vis tape he used, you cannot miss it in the corner
Personally, I find that within a nice case, the tip does not need any further protecting. Also in my mind, depending on the case you use and the space available, if the protector is too big you could unintentionally put more stress on the narrowest part of the cueUp the TSF! :snooker:
