  • eBay Tony Glover Pool Cue.

Here I have for sale, however used to maple hence reason for sale. The cue is 57.5 inch around 18oz with a balance point of 17 inch and a tip of 8mm. This cue is a really nice cue with lovely thuya burr (can tell the difference with my other cues(better looking wood) plays nice as always with a glover, again bought this in a mad shopping spree just can't get used to the feel of the grain at all and find it somewhat irritating (as i am used to maple). If this was maple i would be keeping it and putting it in the cupboard as a spare.

I am wanting £250 for this cue which will include insured postage.

    Kind Regards
    Timothy

I have been told I have overpriced this cue as it is a pool spec cue. Therefore price is dropped to £250 including insured postage to UK Mainland. This means you are getting a Glover for the region of 230 pounds.

Shouldn't take long at that price pal Shame I bought a pool cue last week, although is an amazing cue I got :snooker:

I've had the same cue for 10 years, found nothing close to as a pool cue (want the same in a snooker cue as it's 8.5mm), but somehow ended up buying pool spec cues too. I have 1 more cue for sale which is an old hand spliced rack cue from what i can gather, however needs some work ( a bit bent at the end). But quite stiff for an old cue which is quite rare to be honest. I'd take 45 quid on it with insured postage. Getting rid of all my cues hence all the ones i have for sale, which i think all of them are very reasonably priced.

looks a nice cue. Im after a maple really, just brought an ash and not getting on with it too well.

How does this cue play? I may be interested. Could you confirm if its 8mm or 8.5mm as you mention both sizes.

I can see in the pics the base of the butt is a bitt scuffed. can also see a little dink and looks like it could do with a good deep clean and refinish.

Would you take £230 on it including insured del?

                    Cheers

Yes i would, I can confirm the tip size for sure at home tonight (pretty sure it's 8.5 though). It plays very similar to my maple glover I have, I think it's more to taper of a cue to how it plays rather than the actual wood. Just that i tend to focus on the grain rather than the object ball. But all in all it's nice, just my maple one is better for me (reason mentioned above). I do have the receipt somewhere I'll post that with it too. Look forward to hearing from you.

                      Regards

Looks a good cue. have you put it on ebay? Will defo go on there...
pool players need to take note of your cue. It will do them the world on good. Glover cues are tops.

I'm new on here, anyone advise on how I make fresh posts. At the minute I can only reply to threads.
                        Always a pleasure

                            Hi Tim

Thanks for the reply. Really hoping its 8mm! Find 8.5 a bit chunky for pool!

Still may take it if its not though as never owned a glover and im determined to work my way through every cue maker!
