Ok, I'll let you know by 5-ish, hope i can find my verniers. Alot of cue-makers coming through at the minute so there is alot of cues to buy

Can't find my verniers, going to see a friend later which I'm sure has some to hand.

Measured it tonight, 8.12mm, it's my maple that is 8.5mm . Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Tim.

Sorry for the delay.
Ive decided to stick with my current cue. Starting to get used to ash again, and the misses will prob kill me if i buy another one!
Unless you fancey a swap?! My current cue cost £265 so were near the same value.
