How about trying something a bit different.. I played pool for 15 years then gave it up completely to concentrate on snooker (first season won league!), now I'm starting a billiards career next Wednesday in a local league and I've played only about 30 games ever, not even sure of the rules!

I've found switching about has given me more enthusiasm to master more skills.

Couldn't agree more. Billiards is a great game to play. If I'm playing solo I find playing billiards is far more enjoyable than 8-ball or snooker.

Hopefully, this World Championships will inspire you to pick up a cue again Cally!
