  • eBay hunt and osborne black plate

i am selling a hunt and osborne black plate cue which is now a collectors piece as the company no longer exists due to mr hunts health problems. you can no longer get these from mr osborne either as all his work is now going to china. the cue has a 9mm ferrule, ash shaft spliced into ebony butt with a full thread joint at 18". a 30mm diameter butt with a quick spiralock in the end with telescopic extension and 6" ebony minibutt. it weighs 19oz and is only 2 seasons old and has been taken to mr osborne for a full clean and retip each year. i wont insult your knowledge by going on about how nice/good the cue is as we all know they dont get any better than this. i have my original reciept as well as a certificate of authenticity showing this is number 19 of only 150 black plates ever made. i also have a stamford cuemakers case for sale, this is their 3 piece model in black leather with a red suede interior and rubber protectors on 1 end. sensible offers for either or both please and remember the cue is now worth more than it cost new! thanks...

That is no longer the case, I believe Robert Osborne has finished the "China connection" as was and is now creating new cues for general purchase via his new website (www.robertosbornecues.com) but so far no black plates are for sale
