Anyone notice the muppet is talking about evenly spaced chevrons and tight straight grain? On a maple shaft lol. Anyone even considering buying that needs professional help!

What a complete nutter lol There was one about a year ago when he said the cue pots the balls around the black and the blue spot by it'self.

The sad thing is people actually buy these from him for ridiculous prices.

Hi all I'm still in shock at how bad the cue looks for the money he is asking and how his sales pitch fails so badly. Anyway the reason for writing this was to say Robin Cook had made a jointed cue for Maguire just before the worlds and sent it to him. Trivial info just wanted to let you all know and Fedia learn to sell and spell buddy your making yourself a laughing stock.
                      Regards

About halfway down this page http://www.thesnookerforum.com/board...or-sale/page17

He did somewhat redeem himself with a nice picture though

Have a closer look at the shaft. Maple does have grain and you can sometimes find shafts like this that do indeed have even chevrons. I've seen another like this in person with more than 20 evenly spaced chevrons, but on that one the actual lines of the grain also had a wobbly, corrugated effect so it was really impressive.

I don't know how they source this kind of maple. I wonder if it's old growth maple of the kind that Kevin De Roo mentions? I think the other cue I saw was a JP ultimate too, and I guess if you're going to pay that kind of money on a maple shaft then you'd want something a bit special.
                            Tear up that manure-fed astroturf!

It sold for £2000 so someone paid more than double what it's worth. I messaged fedia and he said Stephen Maguires cue was 1 that was made just for him not like ronnie who has 10 made then picks 1. He also claimed that the JPU 294 I own has no value now pmsl. I kindly reminded him that a cue made for maguire that he didn't even want is clearly not worth close to an older ultimate that David gray used to win a ranking event!! The guy makes a lot of money but is clearly off his rocker
