As for photo's cue is all packaged up I'm afraid but it's in a1 condition.

Hi , John , I think I still have a Tiscali e-mail address for you somewhere and will send some j.pegs when I can (if that is still your e-mail address). You are correct in your assumption , Smith & Nelson are vintage/older cues from Leeds and as a 3/4 it has been altered (thus reducing value ) and you have seen hundreds of these cues, without knowing it.Peradon made thousands of cues with ebony or rosewood machine spliced butts,single pale/lime green veneer and maple or birdseye or sycamore or pear front splice for the trade and this is one of them.Think Pontins News of the World,Grosvenor,Monkhouse,Jo Davis Club cues etc,etc,etc and you will get my drift.I bought the cue as a playing cue and any residual intrinsic value will be tied up in one fact and one fact alone and that is that Rodney Hinde (needs no introduction) is purported to be the person who altered and jointed the cue,that provenance if proven may add some measure of value,but that is not why I bought the cue.As to age then other members such as 100 upper ,perpetual,cue guru,adr etc ( the usual suspects) may be able to shed some light on that aspect, myself I am guessing 1950s-1960s, but that is just a guess.Hope this helps and if you want some j.pegs I will try to send some after the cue arrives.
