Looks like a small spiralock joint, like an O'min, but it would be safer to buy Phoenix's own just to be on safe side

Damn! That would have been perfect as have a Robert Osborne mini butt and extension which he uses spiraloc joints!

Mind you i have Osborne extensions too and they don't fit !! but i do know Robin Cook also does a smaller version, maybe you have those ??? i dunno, i'll pm you now

I have never laid my hands on a phoenix cue as yet but i am gonna be in thailand soon andn will pop in to their factory\workshop. But just some feedback. How is their shaft and splicing etc. I like what i see in pics but just want to know a bit more?

on mine mate the shaft has tight grain on the side and few arrows down the shaft with plate up. all the splicework is neat, level and tight. upthere with all top makers in my opinion.

Cue arrived today John and its a stunner mate!!!!!
Now i need extensions as your correct stating that it uses the smaller type spiraloc quick release thread which is a bloody shame!
Leaving itrader rating for you now and hope you can do same for me fella.

I knew you would like it, great shaft on that cue and plays well with the Phoenix laminated tip.
I picked the cue up and potted a long straight blue right in front of Stu Green from Greenbaize (who was at my club with some under 21's thing going on) Stu is an awesome player, i then put the cue down, as it may have been a fluke

Not got round to using cue but first impressions are more than good.

But how's yer luck as not only need to sort out some extensions but had it set that this cue would be kept in my beloved Barracuda Tournament case and comes to it cue minus butt just tad too long grrr if only screw was on butt end not shaft it would've been perfect! Close but no cigar!
