JOHN PARRIS CLASSIC cue approx. 24 years old for sale
One of the very early ones jointed at 12" rather than the modern 16", this cue is in really great condition, in fact much better than many 1 year old cues i have seen.
One small thing to mention is the shaft is slightly worn below the ferrule probably due to over zealous cleaning over the years, this is on the top (with badge up), but you can't see it when cueing up and has no detrimental affect on playability, i played with the cue last night and all is totally fine, the cue is just too short for me that's all.
The shaft is really nice and the underside 18" is free from grain so is really smooth over the bridge, i would class the shaft as medium stiff altho i'm no expert
Got the cue yesterday morning from jonnyhumbucker in a part exchange deal, i have just cleaned up the brass and oiled the butt that's all that needed doing, really really nice cue
Edit: forgot to say jonny owned it from new so a one owner cue !!!
Specs: 57", 9.7 mm ferrule, 17 oz, 30 mm butt, 16 1/2" balance point, jointed at 12", leather butt pad, talisman tip fitted
