  • eBay Aurora Connoisseur Tribute Cue

    *** SOLD ***

    Hi all,

As I am just about to receive my new Jason Owen cue (Fitted with MW's Blackspin) and I'm just about to order a new cue from Trevor White, I am reluctantly selling my Aurora cue, complete with Snakewood mini butt and full adjustable extension.

The cue has a Maccassar, Tiger Maple & Snakewood spliced butt and is a really beautiful cue.

Whilst Airin has taken a bit of stick lately, Hotpot & Andy Travis will vouch for the quality of my cue.

I am willing to post internationally. The cue will be going on eBay if no joy here.

    Specs :

    57.25 Inch
    9.1mm
    18.25 oz

    Please PM for more info.

          What he said!

Looks like you've got plenty of interest in this one, and should have no problems getting a sale...

                Cheers Jim,

That break cue is working a treat mate.

The reason I posted what I paid for it, is to stop someone offering me £100 or another woeful figure, it's just that when people ask for offers there is often no reference point to know whether it is a £50 or £500 cue - at least not for the novice like me anyway.

is this a hand made cue from Canada or an import from Thailand?

I recently sold an Aurora cue with these specs and design for a little less than I paid for it. Because of the different kind of butt with the 4 beautiful snakewood splices this was a collector who bought it.

I can say with no problem this was one of the best playing cues I ever picked up. My problem was it was just a touch light at a little under 18oz and also I was still looking for a great 3/4-butt at the time. It turns out the collector has decided the cue plays so well that he is using it as his playing cue even though it's a touch light for him too.

As an example, I found I had more screw power and more control of the cueball when in the balls with no degradation of my long potting with this cue. I believe Airin made 3 of them because he stumbled across a supply of really old snakewood in Washington State.
