Looking for a bit of help here. I recently bought a John Taylor and Sons Snooker/Billiard Table and with it came a variety of paraphernalia which included several cues. There was one that stood out and I have attached the pictures of it. It is a 3/4, 9mm tip, 19.5 oz, 58 inches long and plays great. I really like it and am considering using it instead of my trusty Peradon for snooker anyway.

However, after a bit of digging online about these cues it has been difficult to work out how much it is worth. Not that I am considering selling it right now anyway - it would be nice to have some kind of idea. If not just to make the total outlay for the table etc a bit more acceptable in the eyes of the wife!

Appreciate any help offered on this!

    Cheers,

    tcs

Decided to put this up for sale after all as I just cannot deal with the length of it. I'm too much of a short ar*e!

Is anyone willing to make an offer on here? Or prepared to advise how much of a reserve to place on eBay?

    Cheers,

    tsc.

Ok cheers. Just had a wee look into eBay and it's a bit more complicated than I would have thought with fees here and there as well as what to do as regards starting fees, reserves etc.

Maybe someone will make me an offer on here over the next few days. If not I will fire it on there and see what happens...

That is becos you guys from China are driving the prices up.

                    Gotta be rational.....

A Redplate for 600GBP is absurd.......

Yeah I think so. Some people are rich and welling to pay. So sellers just set a highest price and wait. If they need cash they just discount it.

There are 3 sellers selling these cues. For the past 2-3yrs all the cues that Robert made are in China. Less than 40 cues I think.

Is it ok to post a link on this thread to ebay where I am auctioning the cue? Don't want to break the rules...

Yes, that's allowed - not against the rules here.
