Not to worry. Hopefully someone will give it a good home and get a good use of it.

Il never ever even try to argue with you about that. Some people in China paid £60 shipping, and 17% of vat to buy a British cue.

Agree with Sam. The Chinese market is crazy. Went into
Wai Ming in Hong Kong the other day, one of Roberts dealers. Some dude just under 25 blew 5grand on a series 1 cue, a will hunt black plate, a Dave coutts, ultimate no.31. Averaging around a thousand pounds plus a piece. Just an avid collector apparently. But these guys have shed loads of money so to them it's nothing. Hard to accept but that's the market at the moment unfortunately. Just have to save up harder.

Red plates only cost 365 pounds two or three years ago

I think he has a few hands more to play 4 cues at the same time. It really feels good to hold these great cues but it's a wast if he only collects the cue.

I'm Chinese I know why it's like that. People are rich rich rich and don't know how to spend their money. So some of them just keep throwing money away. So as their children. I really don't think a "under 25" can spend that much on cues if he is living on his own.

Back up with, hopefully, a more enticing opening bid. Cheers.
