I am having a clearout and so have three nice cues for sale.
1) Maple 3/4 Joined
This cue is a really well made maple shafted cue. There is a local century break player who asked Stu Green to order him a special order consisting of one Master Cue butt and TWO shafts, one ash and one maple as he was undecided and kept switching between the two. He eventually chose ash and so Stu was left with a maple shaft and he then got Dave Brown at Craftsman cues to make a butt for the cue with a rounded bottom (no flat) and no badge. It is straight and a well made cue. The specs are:-
Length (to top of ferrule) - 58in
Weight - 18oz
Tip - 9.5mm
Butt - 29mm
Balance Point - 18in
Join at 16in.
Hand Spliced
Price - SOLD!!
2) Vintage ash 3/4 Joined Cannon Cue
I recently bought this cue as I was interested in the history of it, one of the first Cannon Cues with an original Cannon white badge and hand spliced. When I received the cue it was in a pretty poor condition, nice and straight but with a rubbish ferrule and horrible varnish on the butt. It was then sent to a local cue doctor who fitted a new ferrule and refinished the cue after taking off the varnish. The specs are:-
Length (to top of ferrule) - 58in
Weight - 17.6oz
Tip - 9.25mm
Butt - 29mm
Balance Point - 16.75in
Join at 11.5in
Hand Spliced
Price - £135 including Royal Mail Parcelforce 48 hour postage
3) One Off hand made centre joined maple cue
I bought this cue from Mattyshinobi on this forum about a year or so ago for two reasons. Firstly it has a 26in butt and I was interested to try out this size after reading that Higgins and Hendry have both used 26mm butts in the past and secondly my nephew was going away to university and wanted a cue that was easy to carry and this cue is centre joined. It is a one off cue, hand made by someone talented. It is maple shafted, straight and with a brass badge with no inscription! The specs are:-
Length (to top of ferrule) - between 57.75 and 58in
Weight - 17.7oz
Tip - 9.5mm
Butt - 26mm
Balance Point 16.5in
When I received this cue I sent it to Dave Coutts to refinish and fit a new ferrule.
Price - £90 including Royal Mail Parcelforce 48 hour postage
OK, I am an Oldgit and havent got a clue how to post photos so if you are interested in any of the above cues then please message me?
The prices that I am looking for are exactly what the cues stand me at, not a penny more! I may even be interested in part exchange deals as I am an incurable Cue-Aholic!!
