  • eBay Jason Owen Sin Bin cue

Sin Bin cue (A term patented and owned by M Wooldridge )

This is a cue that has not meet the quality I require for my custom cues, hence a sin bin cue.

The only problem with this cue is that the bottom of the splices are not level, they are around an inch out between them. This no way detracts from the playing qualities of the cue, purely a visual thing.
Seems a shame to cast the cue to the firewood pile so ive finished it and its for sale.
No returns, no complaints, no reviews, please understand this cue has no Jason Owen Cue guru badge and thus is being sold away from my main custom cues trade, the price reflects this.

    Spec -
    Ash shaft, very nice arrows
    Ebony butt
    Weight 19.5 oz
    Length 58 inches
    Butt 30.1mm
    Tip 9.5mm
    Balance point 18 inches
    Wooldridge super tip
    Very slightly thicker taper than normal - 6" 12.6mm / 12" 15.3mm / 18" 17.7mm

Price £120 plus postage at £12 UK or £55 overseas.
PM or message in thread - First come first serve.
    Payment by paypal.
**Note, if the splices were even at the bottom then this would have been a £260 plus cue.

Please note cue is sold as is, no spec changes, no weight changes, no re taper to 8mm stuff.

    Cheers
    Jason

seems ashame to send that cue out unbadged there are load of people out there who dont care about splice points me included.
you should be proud of that cue maybe you could have a few different badges made for when this happens again. in a few years time it might pop up somewhere and no one will know anything about it. if i was in the market for a new cue i would have ripped your arm off.

It is a shame, but im not happy with it so it wont get out with my badge on.

This is a cracking cue, has a nice solid feel to it.

Wish my dad hadn't just bought the cue he has, this would have been perfect for him, but i agree, even if you just had a badge that said handmade then JO underneath it, might help shift it and if the buyer sells it it would then be easier for them too if they wanted to sell it on at any point too? It looks like a lovely cue, surly it shouldn't be sent out to the big wide world without a name

I dont really want to sell these type of 'seconds' cues so just after moving it on and getting some kebab money for the weekend rather than badging it and having a 2nd line. Plus I dont seem to get them too often now a days, this is the first for 8 months or so.

i could see why you dont want to badge them someone may see it see your name and if they are bothered about that sort of thing and want perfect splicing and all that you might lose some custom as they may think you let that kind of stuff go on second thought i think if it was me i would only want to send out my best with my name on it.
