  • eBay Mike Wooldridge for sale

For sale here is a Mike Wooldridge ash shafted cue..
Specs are 57" long 3/4 secret joint
Ebony butt with greeny/blue veneers and thuya burr second splicing
    Weight is 494 grammes
    Balance point is 17"
    Tip size is 9mm
Extras long extension, and mini butt

The cue has in the past been shortened by 10mm, The images show the butt section. This has no effect on the cue as it plays awesome. Nice tight dark grain and plays quite stiff. I am open to offers around £350 plus postage. The cue on VCM comes out at over £1000.

    Please see images below.

    Regards Karl.

        OUCH !!!! terrible job
To shorten a cue, you usually do it at the tip end, why was this done this way ???? And i'm surprised Craftsman's didn't advise otherwise, or if they did it this way without telling you i would of sued them !

It was done for a local semi pro who thought the 10mm would make a difference to his game. He requested it to be done like this..

OUCH!!!!....I'm struggling to understand why a semi pro would request such a modification to a high quality cue!!!! It defies belief that craftsmen cues would allow such a poor attempt to modify a cue even leave their premises in such a state. I am a fan of mikes work and its crazy seeing such a cock up. Sorry for the rant but its a mess.

That old saying "the customer is always right" should of been ignored in this case, they ruined a beautiful cue, it may have gone almost unnoticed on a plain ebony butt, but jeez what did they expect ???

How much would it cost to fix it mike? I'm guessing a total resplice would be needed, such a shame as it looks a lovely cue otherwise
