Or even a new custom cue from some other maker, since the amount we are looking at is this.
They seem to be all gone...

I mean it could happen to be the perfect cue for somebody out there that simply like how it plays and don't mind the aesthetics. How much would you pay for a perfect cue?

The cue has now been taken to a cue maker and is in the process of being professionally repaired.

Well done and you have taken some flak on here, a bit cruel.

However, you need to consider why you're sending it to be repaired as for re-sale value it is still damaged goods and not original, unless you're thinking of selling it 'as new' if the repair can completely hide the damage. If you advertise as 'damaged and repaired' I'd be surprised if you get an offer of a couple of hundred for it but if you're going to keep it as a playing cue as it plays so well and are doing it for aesthetic reasons, fair enough.

It may go for more as the internet and people always surprise but the old saying "don't throw good money after bad" always goes, particularly if it is a good playing cue.

              Good luck anyway.

Except it won't be a Wooldridge cue anymore so I still can't see you recouping what you paid for it plus repairs and if you're keeping it as a player as it is such a good player, it may not be after being reworked.

Well i would think that there is no perfect cue. Develop and master our technique and we should be able to play with most cues?

Perhaps I should have said (or typed, for that matter) it could feel like the perfect cue for somebody... my bad.

I agree with you about the technique part and being able to play with most cues.

                            Cheers buddy...

Has the cue been repaired? I am quite interested in how it looks after all.

Is that a removable compartment at the end of the butt to store chalk??? What a great invention
