Surely an osborne cue that costs 500-550 is worth more than 350?! They all go to agents and are sold in the Far East for 2k plus...unless they find their way onto eBay
His cues have dealers in Asia already. So naturally they aren't really that difficult to get hold of. Although they have just had a batch of red plates going for 580 pounds. Four splices of olivewood or padauk. Or plain ebony cues. Really really expensive. Can't justify that price on a red plate. Nonetheless, in the UK, 550 pounds plus on a secondhand cue is a tough sell in this economy. As shown by the length of time these cues find new owners.
I suppose that depends on whether someone is willing to let it go for less than what it's worth...most people who buy these cues are never really in a rush to sell them and will be happy for the right buyer to come along akin to high quality artwork
