any offers on this, bumped me car last night in the snow so the money will come in handy now, plus my new cue should hopefully be here this week.

Hi, I'm really interested in this set, and definately going to upgrade my current cue.
Question is I'm not sure if it'll suit me as I was a very casual player (though playing a bit more recently) and have been using a cheap old 1984 Jimmy White cue, 57.5 inch, 16.5oz, 9mm tip, 15.5inch balance point (bought new in 1984).

I'd really appreciate any experienced help or comments before commiting to buy.

I've been playing more often, recently and think the old cue is too light and with too same a tip. Question is, is a jump to 20oz too much, as 18 ozs seem to be more 'standard'?

                        Tx

its more about the balance of the cue really, i am used to a lighter cue myself but got on with this one very well. I would keep it for myself if i didnt have a new one on the way any day now.

It is a quality cue and will feel 100x better then a cheap cue.

There is only one way to find out :-)
