Cheers buddy, but I really don't know about that, in fact I have never heard of it being done.

Nice idea if it could be made to stay on for 30-50 years though?

Might be an idea to contact Tony Glover, this is his speciality

I think it is Tony Glover of Glover Cues (http://cues.co.uk/) who can re-ink and can also create a replacement I think.
Could be worth an email at least

              doh! too slow

by the way, a replacement badge would be oversized and would require fitting and trimming to fit the butt of the cue.

cheers for the info on Glover cues , but I would prefer to have a genuine plate.
I know it may look simular but it will no longer be a genuine cue ?
I would prefer a direct replacement original one if anyone in forum land has one, but I suppose it's just a matter of choice.
                      don't miss!

yep, totally understand, hence the re-ink option - keeping the same badge on the same cue, all original, etc.
Also I believe that Tony Glover has the original templates for these badges, not sure but I have heard such comments made in the past.

any pictures of this badge you can share?

I'm pretty sure Tony can go over yours and make it look almost as new again, would be worth a phone call at least, might cost you £25 or so ???
I have a badge, but unfortunately it's staying on my cue
