  • eBay Woods 1 picec snooker cue, extensions and case

Firstly Id like to say thanks to TSF member stejohn for selling me his phoenix cue which I have passed on to my mate and he is really pleased with it. Now that he has a cue he is happy with, I'm selling this on his behalf.

A Woods hand made ash snooker cue with mini butt, telescopic extension and a lovely one piece case

    Specs are as follows:

    Length: 57"

    Ferrule/Tip: 9.6mm

    Weight: 18.5 oz

    Butt diameter: 30mm

    Balance point: 16"

Ive also listed the item on ebay so you can check out photos on there: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=271143641541

Please pm me if you are interested as I would prefer to avoid ebay fees if possible, my mate accepts he is going to lose some money on this but he doesnt wanna lose loads obviously. £60 for the lot delivered in the uk or £50 and you sort out the courier if you can get 1 cheaper than £10

Just a quick question? What was the cue like? I see more on ebay and they are priced pretty cheap.

Rob what did your pal make of his Woods cue, I have heard the three star ones are good cues, but on the surface there doesn't seem much between them, so thought I would ask someone who has played with one, I'm just being nosey.
Sorry Les I must read all posts before typing mine lol.

The cheaper woods cue were ok but not great, they have a lacquer finish and the splice work is not too clever but for the money they are still a bargain considering they come with extensions and a case. The 3 star cues are very good for the price but make sure you ask for an oil finish!

How do you tell if they are a 3 star cue?
