Are these the balls used in professional tournaments?
and if so, are they still available?

They are the same, except that they have a weight range of 3grams and not the 1g they actually use in the tournaments now.
Exactly the same balls and they are very nice indeed.
I have a set and you can see feel the differnce when playing with them
