Hi all,
I was lucky to have bought this Hunt & O'Byrne black plate http://www.thesnookerforum.co.uk/boa...e(black-plate) from Richy (cue maker of MAC cue) two years ago. The cue is around 20 years old and is absolutely gorgeous. I cannot put more concise descriptions than what had been posted eariler by the original seller “The cue is ash shaft and black ebony butt. For its age it is in stunning condition. The cue has a nice responsive shaft with very low deflection. The butt at the plate used to be round but now has a small flat put on it (done professionally by Robert Osborne) just to make it easy to feel the right way up with arrows. The back grain has no arrows and feels smooth in your bridge hand.” Recently the cue was sent to Trevor for a refurbishment and altered to 57” and 9.5mm tip size.
I am in need to look for a good home for this beauty because I have got another O'Byrne recently so one must go and share with others. I would like to do a part exchange with similar spec decent quality one piece cue and money offer is also welcome. Any questions feel free to ask and pm me your offer.
Here are specs of cue. Thanks
